More than 2.000 people attented last night grand opening of new swimming pool complex placed in western part of town – Kantrida.
After 2 years of building, Rijeka is finally ready to entertain the 12th European championship in 25m long pools.

The works on D-404 road arround Rijeka, that is under conscruction for few months, are coming along wery good. The first faze of additional part, that should be finished untill year 2009., is allready visible. The road is daily closed at 5pm, 9pm, 1am and 9am.

The new double-decker bus, with an open-air top deck and cute coloured with Rijeka motifs, has been introduced for Rijeka and Opatija sightseeing.
It takes up to eighty people and has installed earphones. Visitors can select between 10 languages.
